This wallet measures approximately 9x5 inches, has two roomy pockets and a large zippered pocket with vampire fangs zipper closure. It holds 8 cards and is roomy enough to double up on cards if the need arises. It has a skull snap closure to keep all your valuables safe. It is made with faux crocodile skin and cotton.

This wallet is an ode to our beautiful, charming, wicked, and favorite snarky vampire of all time, Lestat. I chose every piece for a reason and it all represents the different parts of Lestat or how his story played out. Let’s start with the zipper. I purposely chose the black zipper with demure rainbow because Lestat, to me, was a dark, lost soul, but he always had a flair for the dramatic. Of course the vampire teeth closure speaks for itself. The cotton fabric shows hints of voodoo because, of course, Lestat’s story takes place centrally in New Orleans, which is well known for it’s voodoo practices. The skull represents Lestat’s human death and rebirth into his vampire self. And of course the crocodile skin, this was one of my favorite aspects of the story. When Claudia thought she had killed Lestat, she and Louie took his body to a swamp and let it float to the bottom. Lestat was in fact not dead. He feasted on the blood of snakes and crocodiles until he regained his strength to come back. The reason I love this part is because Lestat was so disgusted that he had to drink crocodile blood to live. It just shows how much of a diva and queen he really is. This wallet is my Lestat. Beautiful and resilient in every way, and never letting go of a flair for the dramatic.
